オードリー・ヘプバーン TIMELESS INSPIRATION

Audrey Hepburn

Oh Audrey, you are just inspiring me to use the LV Speedy bag more and more.

Note the amazing coat! Luv how the buttons are Asian-inspired and the 3/4 sleeves.

OCEANS

Tomorrow (and tonight!) I'm going to persuade W to go and see the documentary "Oceans" with me.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out the trailer here:

スウィングルーズ

I feel like playing with my hair.

GREEN・FOR・SPRING

Say hello to my new eye-shadow and nailcolor. The color is close to Chanel's "jade", but contains shimmer...so it makes it a bit lighter than the original. But it's a priceworthy substituteグッド!

The eyeshadow is from Shiseido's Maquillage. Luv their make-up!
It doesn't seem green on the pic, but it's lovely!

I think that green will be a great match to all the natural colors that are coming this spring, don't you agree?

(*^▽^*)

Tomorrow is my last "whole day" in Japan. I will be enjoying it with W. So sad to go back again.
But what comes after sadness will always be happiness.

Trust me.

お鍋PARTY

Yesterday I had nabe for dinner (again!)
Must be like the fifth time this month *laughs*

This is something I will really miss from Japan, ume-shu! (plum-wine)

坦々めん大好き☆

Sorry for my never-ending food posts *laughs*
But I can't help it!

This is the best tantan-men I've ever had in the world!
Love it!

カップケーキ大好き♥

Yesterday me and a couple of friends made cupcakes!
This time we went to buy a lot of cute toppings (get it at Tokyu Hands right now!)

I must wonder where the beautiful vibrant purple color comes from right?

Well...*drumming sounds*

It comes a la naturally from the purple sweetpotato!
We also made chai-flavored topping and plain with coconut flakesキャンディー

茶道 2010年1月24日 国分寺

Here comes some pics from the tea ceremony yesterday!
During a traditional tea ceremony you have sweets with the maccha.
Yesterday's sweets were delicious! I kept the red cherry blossom sweet as a souvenir *laughs*
We also enjoyed lunch, which prolonged the whole ceremony.
*yummie*

茶道

Tomorrow I'm going to attend to a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, which means kimono and sitting in seiza style for approx 3-5hours. I wonder if I will be able to stand up after that? *laughs*

I picked out another kimono to borrow for tomorrow, a light jade green with beautiful flowers. Really lovely.

The hairstyle will be this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1TMRHMYDWs&feature=SeriesPlayList&p=89538B9C4F60390A

I warmly recommend her hair tutorial on youtube. Very simple and cute!

Ok, must wake up in about 4hours. Goodnight!

CHANEL SPORTING GOODS

I think that by now, most of my readers know that I'm not a sporty person...
But check out these sporting goods from Chanel! *drools*

*dreaming of the snowboard, so chic!*

Check out more of the goods on Chanel's homepage!

HALLONGROTTOR

Yesterday I found another recipe and the "raspberry caves" turned out perfect!

This time I made mini ones and had raspberry and plum jam.

(-^□^-)

The recipe for approx 20 mini ones:

100gram butter (room temp.)
120gram sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar (or vanilla essence)
1 teaspoon baking powder
approx 240gram flour
your favorite jam
(if you like to spice things up, add some cinnamon in the mix)

*

いちごWhip the soft butter and sugar until it becomes white:ish and fluffy,
オレンジAdd baking powder, vanillga sugar and flour.
ぶどうRoll it into a length and cut the dough to get the same size.
リンゴRoll each piece into small balls and make a hole to add your favorite jam into.

さくらんぼHave the oven on 200celcius and put the pieces in for 10-12minutes.

今日はリンゴケーキとチャイ☆

Today I made an apple cake and had chai (brought from Sweden)

W's mum and I had it during afternoon teaコーヒー

A healthy version, reduced sugar amount (brown sugar instead of white as well) and some soba-flour mixed in it. Gives the cake another flavor. It was perfect with chai!

( ̄▽+ ̄*)

Today is Tuesday, which makes it less than 2 weeks left until ET must phone home again *laughs*
I mean, I must go home... I wonder how it'll be going back home after more than 2months of Japanese life, it will be very interesting...

もっと着物PICS

Here are some more detailed pics of the kimono I wore last Sunday.
The obi (belt) was fantastic, and the setting of it!

W's mum is great, thank you for lending me everything

私のバッグ

Bag (W Closet), handcream (Apoteket), gloves, MP3 (Sony), lipbalm (Ettusais), mobilephone (LG), alcoholic-gel (Apoteket), medicine for motion-sickness (some drugstore in Japan), calender, heart-shaped pouch & creditcard-pouch (Louis Vuitton), omamori (temple in Nikko), sweets (Glico)

This is what's in my bag right now.

The heartshaped pouch and cherry-pouch is two of my favorite items from Louis Vuitton.
They are for my, timeless pieces. I'll be using these when I'm a granny *laughs*

Something else I always travel with in my bag is sweets and my MP3.
Must-haves.

During winter (and summer...) I have quite dry hands and lips, so handcream (a new budget favorite of mine from Apoteket in Sweden) and lipbalm are also must-haves in my bag.

The lipstick is from Ettusais. Really good and gives you soft lips! (^з^)-☆

And lastly, pills for my motion-sickness, since I travel a lot by train here in Tokyo.

Ok, now I want to see what's in your bag!

( ̄∇ ̄+)

COUPLE・SHOTS

A huge thanks to W's mum that took the picture!

In the car, on our way to the temple.
W is setting the navigation, and I'm disturbing him with the camera again *laughs*

大國魂神社へ

Just some small sneekpeeks of what I wore yesterday.
Me and W went to the Ookunitama-temple.

今晩は新年会です♪

Doutzen Kroes

All these drinking parties in Japan does not seem to end. Tonight is no exception either.
I'll be heading to Shinjuku for a "shinnenkai" as they say in Japanese.

Care to join me? カクテルグラス音譜

Tonight I want to be like Doutzen on the pic, dressed in black, red nails and fierce heels.
I miss my wardrobe in Sweden! *laughs*

The Devil Wears Prada

Japanese Television sent this movie tonight, so I have been watching it.

All the clothes *drools*
Anna Hathaway is also so beautiful!
