Yesterday I went to Omiya with W's parents and sister for this year's first temple-visit. Something the Japanese people traditionally do every beginning of a new year.
It was packed with people and the que was looooong, but it did not take long before we could enter as well and make our wishes for this year.
What I like about these temple-visits are the market of food and sweets! *laughs*
Yesterday I had gyu-tan, nikuman, chapin, amazake and fried sweetpotato!
*yummie*
Have you gone yet to the temple?
