Last year everyone went stripe/border-crazy.

This year it's all about the dots and spots!

I fell in love with this cute dotted black/beige combination (it's a cute shirt dress). It looks so beautiful together with the waterfall cardi....

I think that these two piggies describe our relationship quite well *laughs*

Our thoughts can sometimes be in so sync that it's scary, without W saying anything I can simply know what he wants, and the same goes the other way around.

But sometimes our thoughts can also differ, just like the colors black and white. We just see things in different angles. Well, we have been brought up in different culture and society.//

I am generally I quite cuddly person, I like to hug, kiss and play. And if possible, all the time *laughs*

For me it's like "in this moment nothing else matters", whilst W is not as much cuddly as I am when it comes to a kiss on the cheek or just a comfortable touch. His thought is like: you save it for special occassions, if you do it a lot it will be "normal"...

So the question is, who of us are right?

50/50 maybe?

I agree on what he means, it's like saying "I love you" to everyone and everything and it will loose its meaning right?

But on the other hand, I also told him, what if there is no tomorrow? Wouldn't you regret that you didn't gave me that peck or kiss?

So the result:

This morning before W headed for work he suddenly came close (almost with a silly grin on his face), gave me a hug, a kiss and another kiss on the forehead (he is usually not a morning person=grumpy and stressed).

I think by now we all know who's thoughts came across right? *smile*

TAKOYAKI

Yesterday me, W and Iwata-san made okonomiyaki and takoyaki. Everything was for prepping for the party that will be held in Sweden at the end of October. We wanted to make takoyaki more presentable and alluring.

Which resulted in this design above.

The menu was small and cute. We had all kinds of delicious stuff! Hihi...

I must be the last Gossip Girl-fan on earth that has yet seen the new episodes of season 4!!

I found this lovely pick from season 4 episode 1. I want to watch it right now!

But tonight me and W are going to watch Shutter Island starring Leo Dicaprio. 

So maybe tomorrow... 

Which also reminds me, my salary from August month should be in my account tomorrow...

I have never been a huge fan of wide leg pants, but this picture made me re-think. 

BACK FROM KAWAGUCHIKO

This weekend I've been away to Kawagushiko with a bunch of friends. We rented a cottage and enjoyed lot's of delicious food!

The first night was BBQ and the next day we had delicious "houtou", which is a kind of thick udon noodle.

Thank you everyone for a nice weekend in Kawaguchi!

Tomorrow I am heading to Ikebukuro and Ginza with a friend, really, really looking forward to it, hihi...

AUTUMN ITEMS 2010

APPLECAKE

Today I have been baking with W's mum. We made applecake with brandy, yummie yummie.

I topped it with lot's of apple!

Dooooone!

We served it with tea and rum raisin ice-cream.

Recipe

125gram butter

approx. 150ml sugar

2 eggs

200ml wheat

1 teaspoon baking powder

a couple of drops of vanilla essence

brandy (just add the amount you want)

1~2 apples (depends on the size)

cinnamon and sugar

So begin with whipping the roomtemp. butter with the sugar. It should be white and fluffy. Add vanilla essence and one egg at the time. Mix it together well. Add brandy.

Finally you add the dry items.

Cut the apples and mix it together with some sugar and cinnamon (I also added a bit of brandy in it)

Fill the form with the fluffy mix and top it with apples.

The oven should be on 175℃ and put it on the lowest shelf. Bake it for 40minutes.

Serve with ice-cream!

Resident Evil: Afterlife

Nakashima Mika's look in Resident Evil: Afterlife

Today is ladies' day in Japan, which means you can go to the cinema for only 1000yen. Lucky for us ladies right?

I went with sweet Ken-chan to see the new Resident Evil movie.

For those who do not know, I am a huge Nakashima Mika-fan, so seeing her in a big Hollywood creation is indeed very exciting!

As always she looked stunning (besides being a undead). Standing ovations to you!

Last Sunday me and W made dinner together. I made tomato curry with lot's of veggies.

W made the salad, naan and contributed with delicious dessert from papa's!

Usually the tablet are round...

But today a heart-shaped, pink tablet came out of the box.

Could this be a sign?
