Me and M swung by the Hummingbird Bakery in Notting Hill when we visited London, it was cupcake heaven I tell you! The shop was very small though, but filled with sweetness. I warmly recommend a visit!

I just got hold of some price info for these two lovely items from H&M. You all know that I've longed for these golden heels for quite some time now, but finding out that it's this pricey made me re-think....I mean, it's still only H&M right? Lately they have really been trying to raise their prices and image. But it could also be because they have started to use real leather instead of faux ones. Which explains the high prices.  

The envelope clutch has such a lovely and fresh color, me like. I can already imagine myself in a little lace white dress or a beige outfit with this clutch. 

Mini Bayswater Satchel

Mulberry recently launched mini Alexa bags, now it's their icon Bayswater's turn.

What can I say? WOW! It's adorable!

I know I've been posting a lot about bags recently...but I'm on a hunt after a new one, so bear with me until I find it *laughs*

I placed an order at ASOS yesterday, here are some of the things I ordered. 

I know that I'm already an owner of two animal printed belts, but this one with the ribbon design was screaming "buy me". Cute is it not?

I seldom buy rings because I am allergic to anything but silver/gold/platinum etc. But when I saw this one I just couldn't hold myself! Fierce!

and since I've lost some weight recently, I decided to order a pair of new trousers that is not in a skinny model. These are just a bit narrow legged and I love the braces! So Alexa Chung:ish!

These two darlings are from Longchamp. I have never owned a see-through bag, but looking at this one makes me want to have one *laughs*

We'll see on Sunday (going to Stockholm again) if I have time to swing by the Longchamp store, I also really want to check out the first Marc by Marc Jacobs store in Sweden. But we'll see...

the first wine&cheese night 2011

Yesterday I hosted this year's first wine&cheese night with a couple of great friends. 

We had different kinds of cheese: brie/goat cheese, cranberry brie and one unknown :) They all were lovely!

I also baked cupcakes, this time with a purple sweet potato frosting. 

The choice of wine was a bottle of MASI passo doble malbec corvina and a small bottle of sparkling sake (hou hou shu).

FIORELLI vs MULBERRY

Well, for those who dream of a Mulberry Alexa one day (like me!), I found a beautiful budget variant from the brand Fiorelli. It's faux leather and comes in tan and this soft white, but also a larger model in black and brown. 

This bag cost about 1/10 of what Mulberry Alexa costs.

What i like about this copy is that it's quilted. I'm very weak for quilted items...

MULBERRY S/S 2011

My Sunday often consist of laundry and browsing through lookbooks after lookbooks, and now it's great to take a sneak-peek at Spring/Summer collections! I know, it's still very much cold, wet and not to mention slippery outside. But I just can't wait for spring to come! 

And Mulberry always does these beautiful ads. No exception for this year either.  

The new Tillie line is cute, but I'm still in love with the Alexa bag.

HAPPY

Yesterday was spent in Stockholm. I had delicious dinner at Shanti Softcorner in Södermalm and did some shopping. I found this lovely top I've been eying for so long! Unfortunately, the heels I was hoping for was not released yet. But I'll be in Stockholm again soon, so we'll see then! :)

Today I'm staying inside, trying to make my first kimchi from scratch, it's much easier than I thought that it would be...

I have always been a huge fan of Natalie Portman, so when I heard about the news of her being pregnant, I also felt happiness *laughs*

The frills maybe seem too much on Sophia Bush, but I like the design!

I have fallen in love with this faux-leather envelope clutch from ASOS.

I originally wanted the green one (already sold out), now I'm thinking about the brown one instead. 

Or will they maybe re-stock??

Fashionblogger Elin Kling for H&M

This is not a surprising news, one of Sweden's biggest fashion bloggers, Elin Kling has done a collaboration with clothing chain H&M. 

I've seen some pics of the collection and it's very womanly minimalistic with beautiful details. My favorite must be this wonderful dress. Beautiful pattern and flow. I like. If I remember the info right, the collection will be available only in 10 H&M stores in Sweden. Launch date: 3 February. 

Me want this dress.

This Week

Lovely week, not for my throat because it has began hurting (a cold?), I know exactly who it is from...*sigh*

Anyway, my morning has consisted of a lot of phonecalls, breakfast has yet reached my stomach and it's almost lunchtime. And no, this is not a st*pid diet. I just haven't got the time yet. Trust me, I'm the girl that eats at least 5times a day.

So what is happening this week?

I can reveal that I am signing a contract for a new work! Hopefully by tomorrow or Wednesday *yay* I cannot really tell you which company yet, but I will tell you all soon!

My last phone call to Macarong (above, they have divine Macarons) also went well, they are interested in collaborating with my recent project, which you can see here. The Facebook-page is not 100% done yet, but it should be in the end of this month. We are getting near and soon ready for opening, which is great news and fun since I've been doing this since last September-month. We only have some final touches left, which is also the fun part: interior design and decoration. 

So I have a couple of meetings left, some awaiting phone calls and hopefully (and a bit sad, because the part as a buyer is really fun and exciting), this will be my last week of flexible work time *laughs* But I cannot wait until beginning to work with some more routine.  

Oh, and I also managed to book in a date for an Oslo-weekend in March (which will be fun fun fun) and next week this year's first wine&cheese night with some friends. I can sense that this month is going to be LOVELY.

She is really rockin' that H&M mustard yellow one piece, it's quite funny because her piece seems so much shorter than mine, but the fact is that it's my legs that are shorter...

H&M Spring 2011

Two items from H&M's spring collection. Love the boots! does someone know when they will hit the stores? I really love the quality and design of shoes from H&M. I have a pair of several years old black ankle boots with a zipper that is still alive and rockin' from H&M. Although Topshop and Zara also maked amazing heels.  

The color-blocked top is also very cute! By the look of the tag I guess that it will only be available in Stockholm and Gothenburg (the Trend line). So I will hope that they will launch it on their online shop soon :)

But until then...no shopping for me...because somedays ago I got myself a new skirt for new year's eve, a new black/white top (I'll try to upload a pic, or just check it out here) and a new suit jacket for work.

last supper of year 2010

During New Year's Eve we had split into three groups for the dinner course. Two persons in each group. 

Our hosting couple E and M made this delicious soup and grissini (grossini?)

Me and Maria made risotto with smoked salmon, mascarpone, caviar and crayfish. 

It was actually our first time making risotto, but we somehow managed *laughs*

Dessert-team made a very rich chocolate cake with raspberry and mint. It was a lovely combination.
