DREAMY DRESS

Seriously?! This must be one of the prettiest wedding gowns I've ever seen (next after Grace Kelly's of course). I really like the idea of having a "changeable"  dress without actually having to change, just rip of the skirt and voila! you have a whole new dress and cut! Although I think Richie her did actually change to another dress... Rumors says that this Marchesa dress was inspired by Grace Kelly's, so I can understand my love for it *laughs*

Richie just looks stunning in her wedding gown, almost dreamy like with all the lace and tulle. 

My favorite part must be when the whole cream-puff thing is off, just this simple stunning lace piece with an open back. Me like!

Cupcake heaven

If there is something I like to bake, it has to be cupcakes. I always use a carrotcake-bottom (it feels healthier and it gives the cupcake a very flavor:ish richness). 

While working some-days ago I stumbled across this cupcake stand, isn't lovely?!

Year 2010 is coming to its end. How fast this past year has been! Last year I celebrated New Year in Hokkaido, that trip still feels like yesterday for me. But even after that I've been to Japan several time, three times this year? I think I've already lost count *laughs*

Thinking back to year 2005, to be more precise the summer of 2005, when I first embarked to Japan, how much a person can change over 5years! If you asked me then what I would be doing or what I wanted to do then, my answer would not be same. 

Japan has taught me so much about life and I have found so much happiness there. I tasted my first green tea ice-cream there, learned how to eat umeboshi, met lot's of lovely people, learned how to snowboard, discovered the way of a healthy life, experienced a very rich and fantastic culture, went to my first temple visit, had the ability to wear a traditional kimono, saw fireworks by the river...the list is never-ending. But most surprising of all, I met love. 

So what is going to happen next year? Do I dare to guess or say? 

But I'm sure of one thing, it'll be as lovely as these past five years. 

Spring News from H&M

I know, winter has yet left us here in Sweden but already is H&M's online shop ready with spring wear. 

The camel colored faux leather jacket above is cute with its frilly details and I also thought that the lollipop Hello Kitty socks were too damn cute to not show you guys. 

Which reminds me...I have a package from H&M which needs to be picked up...I'll guess that will be tomorrow's task.

I decided a very un-cute hair style today. More rock n roll:ish *laughs*

It was really really a long time ago since I did this style on myself, I brought my bangs up and it kind of opens the face, it feels quite good actually. My main inspiration was Gillian Chung several years ago when she always had this kind of hair style.

Although I'm thinking of letting my hair down into a curly ponytail instead of this bun.

Well, well, the clock has passed 12! Which means it's Christmas Eve. What are your plans?

I am going to a huge family dinner, though I still have not decided what to wear... 

Frida Gustavsson on these beautiful and inspiring pictures are giving me some inspiration. 

I love this gorgeous model and the styling done here. The block-colored top on top is definately a must-buy. 

Did I mention that I got myself the exact same necklace from H&M above?

I wear it almost everyday, it has become one of my favorites.

Can you believe that 2010 is soon over? That suddenly it'll be 2011? 

I must say that I'm quite excited about next year because so much fun things are going to happen in my life. 

So what happens on Christmas this year? I haven't been able to celebrate at home for several years now so being in this snow-filled country right now feels like a fantasy land (and sometimes nightmare since it's so cooooold). 

On the 24th, Christmas Eve, we are having a big fat relatives dinner. So as usual, a lot of people...it will certainly be a very noisy and load eve...

On the 25th we are having a family dinner at home and then I'm heading for club and dance with friends *yay* It will be a superfun Christmas!

But already tomorrow, me and a bunch of girlfriends are going to head out for tapas and cocktail at Manesa. What should I wear?!

Black Swan

I went to see the new Tron movie as mentioned yesterday. It was simply awesome! Exactly my type of sci-fi movie with great scenes, characters and a world you can simply dream your way into. Just like Inception, it gave me a dream and unforgettable experience. 

The next movie I really want to see must be Black Swan starring my favorite actress Natalie Portman. This picture is from VOGUE US 2011 Janaury.

you all know I like a good handbag

Besides having great love for high heels, I also have a huge passion for handbags.

The taste has of course changed from ten years ago, from a very girly cute:ish to more ladylike "man" bag style.

Besides having the classic 2.55 Chanel on my dreambag list, these ones are also there. 

The Celine Boston tote above would be my second dream working bag (my first one is of course my timeless piece Mulberry Bayswater).

This is Chloé's Pure Paddington bag. I like the simple design, color and that most of my documents would fit in there without any problems. 

And lastly of course, the Alexa bag from Mulberry. It feels for me like a more casual Bayswater-model. I have been very much in love with in since I lay my eyes on it.

Clinique High Lengths Mascara

Since I'm Asian I have always had a very tough time finding the right lengthening mascara, if you asked me I have probably tried every single ones out their that promises the false eyelash experience. 

Since I've been to Japan every year now since 2005, I have been able to stock up on a pretty good mascara from Majolica Majorca (Shiseido), but since I know by now that I won't be able to go to Japan for awhile I have to find a replacement. Here is that caught my eyes lately.

I have never been a huge fan of Clinique's products, but this feels very promising since I have read and seen quite good reviews of it. Has some of you tried this miracle wand?

I think that I must check it out today when I head out for afternoon tea with a friend.

not without my heels!

I was lucky to be in Japan while this collection launched, since they have size 35 in shoes as well! (in Sweden they only retail from size 36, which would be far to big for small feet me).

I was first aiming for the animal printed ones, but I changed my mind last minute, because these black darling in silk and patent leather seemed more timeless and more me. 

Maybe I will walk in these during New Year's eve? 

Still haven't decided on which dress though...major problem...I know...

I am one of those who get really dry skin during winter period, my ususal facial cream is not enough. Although lately I stumbled across this new product from an organic Swedish brand, it's called estelle & thild. 

They have launched a facial oil for dry/mature skin. I'm very keen of trying it so maybe I will pull myself together today to head out and check it out.

But first, a very early breakfast (I woke up around 4.30am today...damn this jetlag...)

On the early morning of 23th November 2010 I woke up with W to head to Harajuku.

The reason was because of the limited collection LANVIN for H&M.

As you may see I got a bag bigger than myself *laughs*

And yes, I am very proud of W for getting up on his free-day from work to indulge and pamper me. Thank you for such a great Christmas gift!
