H&M HOME

These napkins ring are from H&M HOME, they are adorable!

I must check these out when I am in Stockholm tomorrow.

TOPSHOP make-up

Loving Topshop's make-up collection!
The wine colors and black shadows.

I'll definately do wine lips for Saturday!

MAXI LENGHT

Kate Bosworth always look flawless in her chic style! Love!

I have been trying to look for the perfect maxi skirt now for some months. Today when I went out for some errands I couldn't resist to swing by H&M and check out autumn/winter wear.

I found a gorgeous maxi skirt from H&M's Divided section!
I'll try to find some time tomorrow to upload a pic.

I am going to walk in these until I fall.

Guess what?

These babies are mine. I am going to walk in these until I don't know when *laughs*

And now, the small update about what I'm doing right now. I am in a project as a buyer and event planner for a small Japanese restaurant that is going to expand. It's a very exciting project and I will be doing this until next year. So this is the reason for the bad updates lately. But don't forget that you can follow me in twitter.

Tonight I'm heading out to see The Social Network. Popcorn!

Marc by Marc Jacobs

Our first Marc by Marc Jacobs store in Sweden opened last month.
It's located in central Stockholm, since I will be in Stockholm this week I will definately swing by!

Although I have already been eyeing these two items.
A plastic tote I want to use while grocery shopping *laughs*
and a pen in form of a lipstick.

vintage on the net

Lately I've been eyeing these vintage YSL heels on Swedish E-bay.

I love them but the defect on the left heel is not so pretty...I wonder if it's something you can fix??

LANVIN for H&M second look

The first look we got was in sleek black. The second look is far more colorful.

The shopping bag is super-cute! And of course the heels!

ABSOLUT WATKINS

Never ever have I wanted alcohol this much.

This is a limited edition Absolut Vodka bottle named after illustrator Liselott Watkins. I am soooo buying this bottle when I'm flying to Japan next month. A total must-have in my future apartment.

BAD BAD, but BUSY GIRL

Sorry for the lack of updates these days. I am on a new project right now and it has only begun, but already there is a huge amount of things that needs to be done.

I'll update later when the project has stabilized!
Meanwhile, follow my life on twitter.

SKINFOOD

I have since the day I discovered make-up and beauty products, been a real sucker for them. I like the packages, the fragrances and the "magic" behind all it.

During my recent trip to Japan I discovered that they also have the Skinfood line (which I first met when I was in Taipei several years ago). For those who do not know, they have a Skinfood store in Lumine (Shinjuku, bottom floor with JR).
I bought some mask sheets for my mum and yesterday she used one of them and was delighted by the smooth result.

So next time when I am in Japan I am going to re-stock *laughs*
And this time also something for myself, like these two above. A hand mask and foot mask. Oatmeal and shea butter sounds so delicious.

A CUPECAKE FOR HALLOWEEN

I love baking cupcakes and share it with my friends. It is somewhat a passion of mine...or could you call it a hobby?

At the end of this month I am co-hosting a Japanese-culture party and I am thinking of baking some cupcakes. Since it occurs during Halloween, I am thinking of a Halloween-theme for the cupcakes.

I want it to be simple yet tasty. Right now the image is a rich chocolate bottom topped with orange zest cream and some fancy sprinkles.

But maybe my mind will change until then...it's exactly two weeks left! I can barely wait. The guests count is now up to 20, so we have a lot of stomaches to please on that night.

RED DETAILS

The Satorialist

I love this picture. I recently re-did my nails, so now they are in chic red.
This autumn I want to accessorize with vibrant colors as well. Too bad I do not own something red...I think that I have a bag in purple...must dig it out from the closet...

ELLE UK November 2010

One more cover to share for November month. I LOVE Alexa Chung's style, the wardrobe I dream of would definately be hers or Blair's in Gossip Girl.

This woman is flawless. Although I would prefered to see her in a pair of pointy heels instead of flats.

VOGUE CHINA November 2010

Lovely, lovely dresses signed Louis Vuitton. The print is just, lovely. I cannot seem to use another vocabulary to describe it *laughs*

There is something called face-brush...

My latest get from Japan is this little face-brush from MUJI. It looks like something you have in the kitchen, but actually it's quite good!

I have always had problem with my t-zone (mainly the nose), but using this together with my usual cleansing lotion it already feels better (after two days)!

So I warmly recommend this amazing brush!

EARL GREY IS A FAVORITE

Tadaaa!
The cookies yesterday turend out really well. My mum also liked them :)

I followed the recipe below but reduced the sugar amount and added instead some vanilla sugar.

Warmly recommend this recipe!

Earl Grey Tea Cookies

Me and my friend talked about baking some moments ago, so I decided that I am going to bake earl grey tea cookies tomorrow.

I googled after some recipes and stumbled across Martha Stewarts recipe *laughs*

2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
2 tablespoons finely ground Earl Grey tea leaves, (from about 8 bags)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 (8 ounce) sticks unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1 tablespoon finely grated orange zest

**
1.Whisk together flour, tea, and salt in a small bowl; set aside.

2.Put butter, sugar, and zest in the bowl of an electric mixer. Mix on medium speed until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Reduce speed to low; slowly mix in flour mixture until just combined.

3.Divide dough in half. Transfer each half to a piece of parchment paper; shape into logs. Roll in parchment to 1 1/4 inches in diameter, pressing a ruler along edge of parchment at each turn to narrow log and force out air. Transfer in parchment to paper-towel tubes; freeze 1 hour.

4.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut logs into 1/4-inch-thick slices. Space 1 inch apart on parchment-lined baking sheets.

5.Bake until edges turn golden, 13 to 15 minutes. Let cool on sheets on wire racks.

Seems simple right?
I'll challenge it tomorrow!

MACARON

I did not leave empty-handed when I left Paris yesterday *laughs*
Besides getting the French Vogue October issue (90th Anniversary issue) I couldn't resist to get a box of macarons when I spotted Ladurèe's shop.

Delicious little things from Ladurée.

THANK YOU JAL FOR GREAT MOVIE SELECTION

One thing that made me really happy yesterday during my flight from Tokyo to Stockholm was the movie selection. Usually they send semi-new ones (which means I have seen them all), but this time almost everyone one of them were new titles!

So what did I manage to see?

Toy Story 3
Knight & Day
Grown Ups
The Last Airbender
Kokuhaku(告白)
Sex and the City 2 (once again...)

Haha, all this movie watching resulted in me sleeping all the way from Paris to Stockholm.

ALIVE

I just wanted to tell everyone that I'm alive!
Air France was 30 minutes late yesterday so I arrived around 23:00. Luckily though, my luggage came out almost first *yay*

Today I've been cleaning and un-packing. So while doing to laundry right now I decided to make a small update.

Thank you everyone in Japan! I miss you all so much already!

ZARA October 2010 lookbook

Some favorites I chose from ZARA's October month lookbook. I am still very much in love with camel colored items. Love the simpleness of combining different materials black/camel. I would love to have something similar such as the black skirt above and combine it with high heels!

ZARA's lookbooks never disappoints me. Thank you!

Summer in Tokyo is finally reaching its end.

Me in Gothenburg during August month. (quilted leather VILA, one piece H&M, ballerinas TOPSHOP, bag (Louis Vuitton)

My, my, doesn't my headline sound depressing?
It is not really on purpose, I am just so tired of the humid and sticky weather here in Japan. I actually want autumn now. So late it has been around 17~25 celcius (I know, that is like summer in Sweden, but believe me, here they are already wearing UGGs and fur...)

Pumpkin and Tiramisu

Today I went on a small souvenir hunt, I have almost gotten everything, so it feels quite good.
While I had some time over I had a quick lunch at Soup Stock and also could not resist to buy some sweets from La Maison's bakery/cakery.

I'll show you later what lies inside the pretty box.

Louis Vuitton, je t'aime!

Thank you for bringing the lady-like fashion back!

Mid-season sale at H&M right now!

For those who follow me on Twitter know that I have been eyeing this beautiful piece from H&M since my trip to Gothenburg.

Today I went to a H&M store in Japan, and guess what I found?!
This very piece at their sale-section! *happy*
I got it for 3000yen (bargain!), it is also available in black.

☆ありがとうございました☆

Yesterday me and W's family went to a dreamy and beautiful restaurant in Hachiouji.

Thank you for the lovely dinner!

And also thank you to Ukai restaurant that took this photo and for the sweet flowers.

Me and W

I also recieved chocolate♡

Our personal chef was very funny and entertaining♪

LA MAISON♡

I wonder how many times I have been to La Maison on this visit to Japan *laughs*
Yesterday me and W went to have tea and cake♡

My choice, apple, almond, maple and chocolate tart.

I love La Maison!

Say CHEESE!

Somedays ago I made a healthy cheesecake with raisins.

The healthy version is mixing the cream cheese with cottage cheese and reducing the sugar amount.
The raisins also contributes a natural sweet taste.

A B C D...

I do not know why, but I like buying my underwear in Japan. Could it be because they like to increase my cup-size to a D-cup? hahaha...

Self-satisfaction 100%.

Yes, please.

EMERALD GREEN

New color from Majolica Majorca (sisterbrand to Shiseido)!

I am a real sucker for green nail colors, after the mint:ish color for spring/summer, I am very much ready for darker/richer green such as this one.
